Here's another case of a tiny word difference making ALL the difference.
When I first put the "Square-Peg Celebration!" e-course up on the Square-Peg-People shop page a friend wrote me an urgent e-mail. "This is on your site...I think you meant something else..."
The course, as the whole Square-Peg-People site does, concentrated on self-acceptance. I wanted to make a point that the course did NOT spend your time evaluating or working on what was wrong with you, but was made to help you assess what is right with you.
Unfortunately, instead of the capitalizing and emboldening the phrase "NOT WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU" as I'd planned on doing - I made a typo and "NOT" became "NOW"...
so the ad asked whether you wanted to find out what's right with you - and then - in bold capitals asked:
oooh yuck! Made it sound like a course from the Mommy Dearest Academy...
