With just a few words...

Little Princess has been over for a couple days. Here's a picture of us playing dress-up and having a tea party yesterday.

At bed-time last night I learned about the power of just a few words. Did you realize that you can change the whole gist of a song with just a few words moved around?

Little Princess had been singing all day - she was correctly remembering the words to some songs she'd only heard a couple times - and then she was also singing some kiddy songs that she'd heard a zillion times. BUT as she was singing to keep herself awake (yawn, yawn "I'm not tired!" yawn, yawn - eyes so droopy...) she lost some of the words to Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.

The song became:

"Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star
How I wonder..."

(dead space/start again)

"Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star
How I wonder...
Up your arse"

I have a witness - Auntie (slightly british daughter) was there too. That is exactly what Little Princess sang. Sure does change that song, doesn't it?
