Comfort Food Additions
That's "additions" folks, not "addictions" - good heavens!
We've got a couple additions to the Comfort Food Book List, and they're cooking books.
Teryll, who describes herself thusly: "by day, a paralegal, by night a devoted foodie. i attended the New School of Cooking in Los Angeles prior to relocating. i also write restaurant reviews for Whatzup Magazine, a local entertainment and arts guide for Fort Wayne."
offered us these two faves of hers:
How to be a Domestic Goddess: The Art and Baking and Comfort Foods by Nigella Lawson
and
The Tassajara Bread Book by Edward Espe Brown.
Thanks, Teryll!
Check out Midwest Munchies, Teryll's foodie blog she's also a "lover of the arts, books, film, music and more." I can attest to her aficionado status in the book department - she's turned me on to quite a number of books and authors. And - shhhh - don't let on that I told you - but this lady has got show biz in her blood. Ask her to sing - even better - ask her to tell you about climbing on a piano to sing!
