Support Stories ~ Strength from Within
blog round robin
Encouragement for the holidays, because:.
Everywhere there are Hallmark reminders of what the holidays are supposed to be like - and if the cultural pressure isn't enough, we've got our own desires and delusions - sigh..
The holidays can be hard normally (whatever that means), but if you're in the middle of changes (divorce, moving house, empty nest, overly full nest, midlife, physical difficulties, job change...) they can be downright painful.
Being in the middle of changes myself, I felt the need for some encouragement this holiday season - and what's more encouraging than a good story?
I decided to ask some of my favorite writers (who write with grace and heart) to share personal stories about connecting with their inner support (the strength within).
Connecting with our inner support - with the core of our being - is our biggest strength (and, unlike friends and family -- who may not be able or willing to be with us 24/7, our inner resources are always available).
So here we are - a number of writers gathered together to offer our readers (and ourselves) solace and encouragement for the holiday season. Enjoy!
