In a lovely (I'm guessing) attempt to give more than is expected, Playmobil® shipped the last set we ordered (for Little Princess' next visit) with a couple extras. The extra flowers for the gorgeous wedding cake are nice (because we'll surely lose one or two as the cake is carted all over) - the extra person is great, but the extra knife gave Slightly-Brit bad ideas.
She's not all that keen on the happily-ever-after stuff anyway - and she does have a wicked sense of humor -- so this little scene sits on a table in the living room greeting folks as they walk through.
this is so perfect, my son and his wonderful lady are planning their wedding for next summer, the theme is a cross between retro punk (think old railroad clothes era mixed with nuts, bolts and washers) and an alice in wonderland tea party. if you don't mind I'll share this picture with them ... I am sure it will help Emily come up with a different cake topping than we ever imagined. Enjoy your visit with the little one and take some time to do some inner child play for yourself. janie

This is just so wrong!
The *bride* should be attacking the groom! :)
I'd like to do a photo manipulation showing newlyweds getting into a limo, except that instead of a limo, it's a hearse. What does Slightly-Brit think about that?
