Our Antidote for the Holiday Blahs

 

Holiday blahs - or blues, or angst - whatever you want to call that heart-achey feeling that can creep up on us (or drown us!) during the holidays...

you know that thing, right?

On our holiday Support Stories page we've got the accumulated wisdom of a wonderful group of women who know that stories (sharing who we are and where we've been) heal hearts (or, sometimes - when things get really tough - what we all need is to have someone lovingly hold our hearts - stories can do that, too).

There's sure to be at least one of these encouraging and heart-opening stories that is just what you need to hear (or read, as the case may be)!

This is a wonderful offering! Thank you!

I was amazed that my wife was able to host Thanksgiving at our home this year. She cooked and cleaned so much, despite chronic pain and a disfiguring rash, plus uncertainty over whether our new kitchen table would arrive in time.

But it all worked out just fine, although the turkey was a bit dry. I was out with the dog trying to wear him out before the guests arrived and lost track of the turkey. But it was still very much edible.
